Nearly 30 years building products, leading teams, and advising executives in payments, technology, and cybersecurity. Most recently VP of Payments at Jonas Club Software; before that, VP of Digital Payments & Cybersecurity Solutions at Mastercard Canada, where she ran a full P&L and built board-approved strategy.

The skills that built her career (communicating your value, building real relationships, bouncing back) aren't taught anywhere else. She started The Career Studio so the next generation doesn't learn them the hard way. And yes, she's a self-proclaimed payments geek.

Jori has firsthand experience navigating career transitions, building meaningful connections, and interviewing at every stage of her career, and it's her greatest joy to share what she's learned with the next generation. Her path was far from straight: along the way she faced setbacks, disappointments, and plenty of unexpected changes. Those experiences shaped who she is today and how she shows up as a coach.

She began in advertising (Communication Studies at Concordia, Media Copywriting at Humber), took her networking contacts' advice to get an MBA at Rotman (University of Toronto), then spent 8+ years in brand management at Kraft Foods and nearly 10 years in varied roles at TD Bank. Currently, in parallel to building The Career Studio, she is leading change management at Canada Goose.

As a mom of three teens and young adults, she has a front-row seat to the uncertainty and potential of figuring out what's next, and knows how much is possible with the right tools, attitude, and support.
